What an amazing turnout…..Tuesday, June 3rd was our big celebration and we are loving that we’ve been open FOUR (4) years now and changing lives through eating better.

On our last count, we think over 1200 people stopped by to visit. How is that possible??! My gosh, we are just this little family with big ideas.

Every day we are so grateful and blown away as to how far of a reach we have on this beautiful planet. Four years ago, we started out with this HUGE dream when we opened Kindfood (the previous name of Lettuce Love Cafe): “To make the world a better place by being kind to the planet, kind to the animals and kind to our bodies (and health)”…. I don’t know if we realized just how enormous our voice could possibly grow to be and now with a second location (Kelly’s Bake Shoppe), so much of our dream has come true. We are living it every day! For this, we are so grateful for our customers that come to see us daily because that means we get to do what we love to do… make delicious food that makes us all healthy and way more happy.

Lettuce Love Cafe, we now know, is not just about the food; it’s about the warm emotions that encompass you when you walk through the door and you’re welcomed into your own ‘home’, it’s about the great feeling you get when you eat Lettuce Love food and you know you’ll feel awesome after you finish, it’s about knowing you’re doing the planet good by eating at Lettuce Love cafe and that we CAN make a difference on so many levels. When you walk in, you look around and you see the smiles and it’s contagious! You can’t help but feel fantastic!

#EatBetter is our motto. It says it all. When you eat better, you feel better. When you feel better, you are happier. We all have choices; even what we don’t choose to do is still a choice. We CAN live better, love better, BE better,…..the first step might be to #EatBetter. As they say, change has to come from within, and you know, Hippocrates could be right when he said, “let thy food be thy medicine and let thy medicine be thy food”….. We ARE what we eat. …..just a thought for your day.
